Adidas continue their domination into 2016 with the NMD, a new collection of sneakers and apparel by Adidas Originals. Made with the best in technology but for everyday use, its a perfect fit for me – a sneaker that fits the busy lifestyle of a city girl.
The NMD design looks futuristic, while still incorporating some 80s Adidas elements in it. This pays homage to the brand’s heritage and the impact that it had on culture, while moving the brand forward by being on the cutting edge of innovation.
In line with the recent NMD launch, Adidas collaborated with local influencers and photographers, showcasing South African street culture. A competition on Instagram allowed the public to share their own urban explorations, for a chance to be featured in the Generation NDM exhibition in Braamfontein last night.
I entered the competition and was fortunate enough to have a photograph of myself selected as a feature in the exhibition. The event was incredible! The rooftop location was stunning, featuring the exhibition images inside, as well as a DJ and dance floor.
