Factorie’s Make Up Make Out

When I think of Australia, a couple of things come to mind: our cricketing rivalry fashion and food (Masterchef of course)! Factorie is a brand that hails from Australia, encompassing casually edgy clothing. Their beauty line, Make Up Make Out, is amazing. Here’s why:

  • Nail Polish: The nail polish has good colour payoff and has a good consistency. The green one has glitter, giving it a metallic look. I’ve been wearing the pink colour since I got it, it’s my favourite so far!
  • Nail Polish Remover: This product is amazing. All you need to do is dip your finger inside and twist it (the remover is soaked in sponges inside). It works instantly to remove any polish you have. Its also easy to carry, self-sufficient and convenient- perfect for travelling.
  • Body Mist: Moonstruck Nights- although I’m not sure exactly what the scent is, it has a very comforting smell. I know its a body mist, but I’ve been spraying it on my pillows every night because of how much it puts me at ease.
  • Lipsticks: I got two shades, viola tango (bright, warm pink) and fleur dry rose (blue-based light pink). Both are gorgeous pink shades that are easy to wear for most skin types. Its by far the most moisturising lipstick I’ve got. The colour payoff is also really good, it lasts for hours and smells divine.

This is the look I came up with using the products. I’m wearing the pink nail polish and light pink lipstick. This is a look I’ve been sporting all week. To complete the look, I used golden shades on my eyes and was quite heavy handed with my highlighter. I was after a strobing-inspired look, without the excess shine. The foundation and contour were kept very light and the eyebrows were (as always) a statement part of the look.

All in all, these products offer you great quality without the hefty price tag. I highly recommend them, for yourself and as gifts for your friends. I’m excited to try out more from this range and have my sights set on the contour palette.
