3ina Cosmetics Makes its Way to South Africa

I have some exciting news for all South African makeup lovers! 3ina (pronounced “Mina”) cosmetics will be making its way to us this August. You can currently find 3ina stores in London, Athens, Milan, Melbourne and Malta. Find out why it’s a bold new approach to beauty below.

IMG_5095.JPGI was luckily enough to try out some of the products. To begin with, the packaging is gorgeous. From taking the box out of the bag, to sliding the cover off, to revealing the stunningly packaged products inside. I was ecstatic to see a range of products and variety of colours in the box.

The products (of which there are 450, with new additions every month) was started by makeup retail experts and has a promise to inspire and empower women. The luxurious feel and application of the products comes at a very affordable price, averaging at R149.95.

I tried out a purple lipstick (111) in the shiny formula, which was ultra moisturising and lasted on my lips, with a glossy sheen. The eyeshadow (127) offers a lot of product and applied with velvet-ease to my lids. The gloss (109), is a light pink shade which is a great neutral colour to have and feels super soft on the lips. The pen eyeliner has an ultra thin point which allows for great precision when applied. I also loved the nail polish (121) which matched the eyeshadow and has a glossy finish and lasted almost a week! Finally, my favourite product: the highlighter (201). Its the perfect colour and does such an amazing job! If theres on product thats missing from your makeup kit right now, believe me when I say, this is it!

3ina products offer good colour payoff all-round and affordability that is next to none. Its makeup that allows you to be creative and to actually enjoy wearing makeup. No longer will the gloss you wear feel sticky, or the lipstick dry your lips out. Products I plan on getting next are the Eyes and Lips Makeup Remover and the Matte & Smooth Primer.

The first 3ina store will be opening at Eastgate Mall in August, with Menlyn Shopping Centre in Pretoria being the next stop.
